Frequently Asked Questions

  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal, Bitcoin, and all major credit/debit cards.

  • How am I billed?

You select your own billing cycle during the order process. We support month to month, quarterly, semi-annually and annual billing.

  • What is "Unmetered Bandwidth" and "Free IPv6 Connectivity"?

We do not charge customers for their bandwidth usage. You are free to use as much as possible. Unmetered does not mean infinite however - for example an unmetered 100Mbit/s connection gives a maximum transfer of roughly 30TB/month or 30000Gbytes/month. Check your plan for your network speed. We also provide IPv6 addresses with every plan.

  • How long does it take for my VPS to be setup?

KVM servers are manually provisioned by our team of systems administrators. We'll start working on your server as soon as the order is received, and it will be delivered in no time.

  • Do you provide backups?

Yes, but they are not included in the base pricing. We offer a cost-effective backup addon to keep your data safe.

  • Can I upgrade my VPS' resources?

Yes, You are free to upgrade to a higher plan at any time. You will be prorated for the rest of the period.

  • How do you do cancellations?

Servers are canceled at the end of each billing period or immediately depending on what the customers desires. Customer is required to make a cancellation request at least 72 hours before their renewal date to ensure it can be processed in time. After a server is canceled all customer data is deleted and you will not be able to recover it if you decide to reactivate in the future.

  • Can I purchase more IPs than your order page gives?

Yes you can, please open a ticket on our helpdesk for further info.

VPSCheap KVM Servers

KVM is an open-source virtualization platform that allows for near-native performance. That is, it performs essentially as good as a bare-metal server, but removes a lot of the overhead involved in managing a bare-metal server.

Unlike other virtualization solutions, KVM is full virtualization. This means that nothing is shared between virtual machines. With a KVM VPS, you get your own operating system, kernel, etc. And you're free to make any modifications you desire.

By being fully virtualized, a KVM VPS is also completely isolated from security breaches that happen in other virtual machines. Your VPS will be as isolated in terms of security as a bare-metal server is.

KVM has been embraced from major players in the software world. It is developed by RedHat (the same company behind CentOS) and it is extensively used by OpenStack, Oracle, and Apple, just to name a few.
